Not the Best Known Bath and Body Site, But a Darn Good One
eBubbles
eBubbles is one of those bath and body sites that is tucked away on the net not found by the masses but lots of fun for those of us who have found it. I think of this site as a "browsing site" because I really enjoy seeing what they have to offer and checking out the new arrivals.
What the Site Sells
The site sells a large variety of spa and brand name bath and body items. They have lots of unique things you don’t see on more traditional sites. There are many names you may never have heard of but are well worth a try as well as established names. They sell items for men, women, and kids. They even have a section for pets!
Navigation
This isn’t the easiest site to navigate but you don’t need a degree on computer technology to figure it out. The home page is a bit cluttered with all the links to brand names, categories, specials, and photos. The site is free of popups and other distractions though. You can click on any brand name they carry or go to a certain category of items or choose to browse the specials. You can also use the Quick Shop option to quickly go to certain areas for items or the search box to input exactly what you want.
I found the site through a search and enjoyed browsing and seeing all this site had to offer. However, if you want a specific item or type of item, you can widdle the offerings down easily and then choose from the available options.
If you see something you like, click on it and it will become a larger photo with a full description and the country (and sometimes the state)from which the item was produced. Descriptions are good and all you need to know is right on the page — except an ingredients list. I like to see ingredients if I am buying certain things (to see if, for instance, something that calls itself "Shea Butter Cream" has shea butter in the top few ingredients or at the end.). I do wish this site listed ingredients for the products they sell.
I imagine ingredients are even more important to parents who are shopping for soaps and shampoos for their kids and those with certain allergies.
That aside, the descriptions are good, sizing is complete, and the prices are very fair. If you chose an item, you click to put it in your "tub" (as opposed to cart) and move along. When you’re ready to check out, if you have racked up over $49.00 in sales, shipping is free. Otherwise, it is $5.95. They also have a variety of expedited shipping options for a higher fee.
You go to the checkout area and, before you do anything else, you get to choose two samples from a large variety of samples offered. These are generously sized and a nice extra. Once you click on the two samples you want, you move to the actual checkout and finish the process. They will gift wrap one item free of charge and send a gift card and you can choose to do that right before paying. That’s a nice extra feature.
You will then input your user name and password if you are a returning shopper or you will fill out your personal info and email address and give them a major credit card number and expiry. You can also call in your order to their toll free number between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PST Monday through Friday if you prefer.
Once you place your order you will get an email and then another with UPS tracking very soon after (usually the next day). Items arrive via UPS within about a week (less if you are on the west coast).
My Experience
I browsed and loved some of the things offered. I am a sucker for bath and body products and this site has some great ones. They have some names I have heard of but many I have not from Canada, Hawaii, France, and other areas.
I decided to get some Island Soap Company Lip Balms (as if I don’t already have enough lip balms!) and the Get Fresh Spa Sweet ‘N Salty Scrub Duo. There were so many other things I liked but I wanted to be sure everything went smoothly before making a larger purchase.
I added the items to my "tub" and then picked my two free samples. I didn’t opt for the free gift wrapping (You can have more items gift wrapped but there is a cost of $3.95 per item after the first free one) and went straight to the checkout.
I decided to register and it took just a few minutes to give my info and pick a user name and password. I then paid with a MasterCard and that was that.
I did get an email immediately upon completion of my order and one the next day with a tracking number. My products arrived in six days. They were packed really nicely and the package was fragrant. My samples were great and everything went off without a hitch. I am about to make another order after I post this as they are having clearance sales and promotions and I want to try a few items. One can never have too much stuff, you know!
My experience was fine. I had no need for customer service because I didn’t want to return anything and everything went very smoothly.
Shipping and Return
Shipping is free over $49 and $5.95 under. You can opt for a variety of expedited shipping options at a higher fee and all options and fees are listed on the site’s Customer Care page.
Returns are accepted for a full refund if it the product is not used or for full store credit if the product has been used. If you receive something damaged, they will replace the item immediately after you call their toll free number to report it.
Contact Info
Their customer service department’s toll free number (Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time) is 1-888-403-8701.
You cam email them right through an onsite form or write them at:

Conclusion
Navigation is just a little confusing at first but it quickly becomes very easy to browse about and find what you’re looking for. The items presented are unique and most are quite reasonable. They have names like Jack Black, Get Fresh, and Mustela as well as other, lesser-known spa names and items from other countries.
Their return policy is fine, they offer free and reasonable shipping depending on whether your order is over or under $49.00, and they have a toll free number — all the things I look for in an online store. A plus is that they charge no tax except in the state of California. Anyone reading my previous reviews of online stores knows I hate paying tax!
The one drawback is that there is no list of ingredients with the products. While I don’t have true allergies and the ingredients are not an absolute must, I do like to check out the ingredients in some items. For those who have allergies, not having the ingredients of products listed could be a real problem. It’s unfortunate because, other than that, this site is a very good bath and body site for all.
I give it 4 stars. If they add the ingredients lists, they would be a solid 5 star site. Definitely worth a look at the exotic and fun products they sell.
