With kids in college, I learned quickly that you didn’t want to learn that someone was stranded because they couldn’t get a ride home, or worse, thought they had enough gas to drive home.
We gave our boys one of our credit cards for a while, but collecting from them was a hassle. What became a “use if you must” card became a “use if Taco Bell is near and you and your friends are hungry” card. Several times, the guys ended up charging more than they made that month. You don’t want to demand money from your kid and start the cycle again, but what do you do to put some accountability in place?
That’s what is so cool about a prepaid Visa card. If you’re going to give your child money, you can load up the card with the funds. Using a prepaid credit card is great because they can use the card online or for those weird $2.37 charges at 7-11. And it’s not like they can go out of control and charge more than they can repay.
You can grab one of these prepaid Visa cards today. They’re great for employees too. You know that if you have an employee who needs a charge card for per diem, but they maybe have some money issues that they are very awkward about asking you for an advance. Just give them their per diem on a pre-paid card. You can still ask (and should ask) for receipts, but you can also take the awkward situation away.
Click the link below and get a Prepaid Visa Card – No credit check. Quick approval. Shop online, pay bills, use ATMs and use it anywhere Visa cards are used. And the folks at Vision Prepaid tell us that they guarantee approval.
